Fran’s Pro Shop offers a professional drilling service from a certified Ebonite Powerhouse driller.

We offer everything to cater for the beginner bowler right up to international level bowlers. We also offer one of the most modern methods in laying out today’s modern bowling balls to give you the best possible reaction, shape from each ball you use playing in whatever centre you play and whatever oil patterns you play on.

Equipment analysis:

This enables us to view how each ball in your range is drilled, see how it rolls and what kind of reaction you’re getting. During this process we also take note of your (PAP) positive axis point, ball speed, Axis rotation, Axis tilt and rev rate (RPM). Based on the findings we can then recommend a ball to match or replace a ball in your current range, we can also advise on the best possible drilling layout to suit your style of bowling and centre you play in to give you the best chance of achieving your highest score/series.

Vise IT (interchangeable Thumb):

We are able to offer our customers the ability to install interchangeable thumb slugs into each bowling ball. This way you can move your thumb slug from ball to ball to get the same fit thumb in every ball.

Thumb Mould:

This process allows us to take a mould of your best/favorite fitting thumb hole in any ball and allowing the customer to get the exact fit each and every time. Each mould taken will allow us to make up to 100 molded thumb slugs so it’s only a small price to pay for the same feel each time.

Vise-IT Moulds:

We’re delighted to be able to offer the best of both, a molded thumb slug installed into a Vise interchangeable thumb slug. Giving our customers the same fit every time and the ability to move your thumb slug from ball to ball.

Vise Vaccu Inserts:

We can also offer all our customers more modern technology in the world of bowling by offering a vacuum feeling finger inserts which give a suction feeling during the ball delivery for better lift and rotation off the fingers to help with ball reaction and ball rotation.

Embroidery Service:

We are able to offer our customers an embriodry service. Get your name on an existing shirt or send us what you want and we'll arrange our guys to do up any shirts form plain to multi colored shirts with logos with team logos etc. Contact us for more details.
